We would like to highlight the driving force behind this Yavapai Food Bank donation. Shari Yeatts was nominated by Safe Quality Food (SQF) for Practitioner of the Year, globally, in September 2020. During their SQF annual conference in October, she was awarded 1st place! Being recognized by the highest food safety standards in the world means Hickman’s is the safest egg in the world.

In November, Shari requested to personally purchase about 60 cases/900 dozen eggs to donate to Yavapai Food Bank. She said she would figure out how to transport the eggs. This area need is over 2,500 dozen at their holiday food drives. The Prescott Valley rural areas have been without eggs for many months. The pandemic has increased the need in our rural areas.

Glenn, Billy, and Clint Hickman intercepted this request and donated 960 cases, or 14,400 dozen. They felt going above and beyond just like Shari directs her Compliance and Safety Team was necessary. As you can see, they also figured out the transport by sending the eggs in the “Mitch Martin” trailer! Mitch might be retired, but his trailer is still rolling in with fresh eggs for all!
